Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Administrator responsible for coordinating the operation of complex database files.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage hardware platforms, ensuring optimal performance and capacity planning for database conversions
• Consult with project managers and development teams to design and implement database solutions
• Develop and test backup and recovery plans while maintaining high-availability database systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in database administration
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning and security
• Ability to work variable schedules, including nights and weekends as necessary
