Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Administrator/Reliability Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize CloudSQL and MongoDB environments for performance, reliability, and cost
• Implement data lifecycle and governance practices including pruning, retention, and access control
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD workflows for database operations

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres) in production
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB, including performance tuning
• Experience in cloud-native environments, preferably GCP, and familiarity with Terraform
• Proficiency in Python or another general-purpose language for scripting and automation
• Experience implementing CI/CD workflows for database changes
