Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to support the backend of a secure VA system for Veterans' health information and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cloud-hosted databases and support data integrations with external systems
• Ensure smooth operation of backend processes for a federal healthcare program
• Monitor performance, conduct backups, and manage data in production systems

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a backend or infrastructure role with databases
• Solid SQL and basic scripting experience (e.g., Python or Bash)
• Experience working in AWS or another cloud environment
• Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and backend integrations
• Must be a US Citizen and able to attain low-level security clearance
