Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Administrator to support USPS' Network and Compute Technology group.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day incident and deployment support for multiple database technologies, including Oracle and SQL Server
• Manage incident response via the USPS ServiceNow application in accordance with published SLAs
• Perform technical leadership in incident response, maintenance, and support of complex database and middleware environments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience
• Able to diagnose and resolve complex problems in an Oracle RDBMS environment
• Strong working knowledge of UNIX and Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Experience with other database technologies such as Postgres, NoSQL, SQL, and Cassandra DB
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required to obtain Public Trust clearance
