Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Database Administrator to support and optimize relational database infrastructure at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and performance of production relational database systems and data integrity
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot relational database systems across various environments
• Design and implement database replication topologies and oversee schema changes

Required Qualifications

• Advanced experience with MariaDB or MySQL database administration, including complex replication
• Proficiency in SQL and query/schema optimization
• Experience in high traffic and highly available website architectures
• Knowledge of Linux and data storage concepts
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
