Database Administrator

Job Summary

Database Administrator, a remote full-time position requiring senior technical leadership in supporting Air Force IT systems development and operations, focusing on database architecture, performance, and data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Tune databases, monitor logs, and provide after-hour support for incidents
• Maintain database configurations and coordinate firewall access for user accessibility
• Develop database strategies and monitor production systems for performance and security

Required Qualifications

• US Citizenship Required
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Clearance
• DoD 8140 intermediate certification or DoD 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higher
• Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology Management, or a closely related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in AWS Gov Cloud environment
