Database Administrator

Job Summary

To support the optimization of enterprise platforms, the full-time remote Database Administrator will manage the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of database systems across SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle, and MySQL environments while developing ETL processes and leveraging AI tools for enhanced efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Manage Snowflake cloud data platform environments, focusing on user access and query optimization
• Design and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data transformation across platforms

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (2016+) and supporting multi-platform database environments
• Strong SQL skills across T-SQL, PL/SQL, and MySQL with the ability to optimize complex queries
• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Administration, or a related field preferred
• Experience with agile software development practices and tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator or SnowPro Core are a plus
