Database Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting a complex enterprise SQL Server environment, the contract Database Administrator will provide operational support, troubleshoot performance issues, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, all while working remotely within the Central Time Zone.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day operational support across SQL Server environments
• Troubleshoot performance issues and perform installations, patching, upgrades, and migrations
• Monitor alerts, replication, and system health while executing backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes

Required qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of SQL Server DBA experience
• Strong T-SQL, performance tuning, and backup/recovery skills
• Experience supporting production environments
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale environments and hybrid cloud (Azure SQL)
• Healthcare environment experience is preferred
