Database Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of the Navy's initiatives, the full-time salaried Database Administrator will administer and optimize enterprise database environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance risk management information systems in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize database environments for the RMI application
• Install, configure, monitor, and upgrade database management systems to ensure high availability
• Develop and implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in database administration
• Current credentials in relevant information technology and software development practices preferred
• Experience with Amazon QuickSight is highly preferred
• Must possess Tier 3 Clearance and be a U.S. Citizen
