Database Administrator

Job Summary

To support the IT department, the full-time Database Administrator will manage database performance, integrity, and security while providing technical support and overseeing database planning and development in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manages the data dictionary and sets standards for database infrastructure processes
• Provides troubleshooting and technical support for database programming and design teams
• Documents technical designs and develops, tests, and implements system changes and upgrades

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of database administration experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
• Knowledge of business and management principles
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others
• Experience in directing, managing, and evaluating department operations
