Job Summary
To assist the U.S. Coast Guard with large-scale government-wide database management, the full-time Database Administrator will manage system upgrades, implementations, and maintenance while working remotely in Washington, DC.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day functions, queries, and data calls
- Conduct comparative analysis of data output to ensure accuracy and debug function errors
- Maintain database structures and develop user guides for existing databases
Required qualifications
- BA/BS with 6 years of experience or master's degree with 5 years of experience
- Active Public Trust Clearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with MS Access, SQL, and VBA programming
- Experience in Database Architecture and the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) process
