Job Summary
Providing administration and support for enterprise Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server databases, the full-time remote Database Administrator will manage installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance optimization to ensure the integrity and security of critical systems for federal clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server database environments
- Perform daily health checks, backup validation, and troubleshoot database issues
- Develop and document improvements for user guides and support processes
Required qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server database administration
- Experience in mid- to large-scale enterprise database system support
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems
- Understanding of cloud technologies and networking concepts
- Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance
