Job Summary
To support mission-critical operations, the full-time remote Database Administrator will manage enterprise database platforms, ensuring performance, security, and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams on modernization initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise database platforms and associated infrastructure
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize system efficiency
- Administer backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of ten years of experience in IT programs and enterprise technology environments
- Experience with enterprise database platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar
- Knowledge of network technologies and experience supporting operational sustainment activities
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance
