Job Summary
To support a dynamic technology environment, the full-time Database Administrator will manage and administer MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases, develop and optimize SQL queries, and ensure database security and performance while working remotely in the United States.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and administer MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases to ensure stability, availability, and performance
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and design complex stored procedures to meet business requirements
- Implement and maintain database security measures and execute backup and recovery strategies
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, focusing on MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases
- Strong proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience with Amazon AWS services, such as EC2 and RDS
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development
