Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Administrator II.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure availability, performance, security, and integrity of databases for the MyHealtheVet platform
Provide remote DBA support for VA Medical Center migrations and maintain database readiness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in automation and compliance

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure database roles
Experience with Oracle database administration and SQL scripting (Python preferred)
Knowledge of database automation using Ansible and/or Terraform
Experience with database performance tuning and disaster recovery planning
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
