Database Administrator III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Administrator III to lead technical efforts in database administration and data system architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and support Database Cloud Infrastructure On-premises and in Azure & AWS
• Provide technical guidance to the database administration team and oversee database security
• Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server and Postgres databases while resolving complex performance issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technology field, or relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise databases, primarily MS SQL Server and some PostgreSQL
• 2+ years of experience managing databases in Azure and/or AWS
• 2+ years of experience with data systems backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
• Experience with automation and scripting in languages such as PowerShell, Perl, Python, or Bash
