Database Administrator III

Job Summary

To support critical database operations, the full-time salaried Database Administrator III will manage T-SQL performance tuning, oversee database configurations and administration, and ensure compliance with service level agreements while providing off-hour support as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform T-SQL performance tuning and resolve critical production issues using SQL Server and third-party tools
• Administer database management systems, including configuration, scripting, installation, monitoring, and upgrades
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to enforce database policies and ensure security best practices are followed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree with five years of database administration experience, or seven years of experience without a degree
• Proficiency in creating T-SQL scripts and maintaining complex SQL databases
• Experience with SQL replication and high availability architectures
• Familiarity with programming languages and tools such as PowerShell, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
• Health care experience is a plus
