Database Administrator IV

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Database Administrator IV will ensure the performance, security, availability, and scalability of enterprise database platforms, focusing on modernizing infrastructure and advancing cloud adoption in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise database platforms such as IBM Db2, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
• Design and implement secure, highly available database environments that support business applications and analytics
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies to enhance reliability and efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Seven or more years of experience administering enterprise database environments
• Professional database certifications (e.g., IBM Db2, AWS Certified Database - Specialty) preferred
• Strong SQL programming skills and expertise in database architecture and performance tuning
• Experience administering AWS database services including Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora
