Database Administrator Master
Job Summary
As the senior database authority for the NCFMS environment, the Database Administrator Master will manage the Oracle E-Business Suite platform in a primarily remote role, ensuring database availability, performance, integrity, and security while supporting federal financial operations.
Key responsibilities
- Administer the full database landscape across Development, QA/Test, UAT, Training, Disaster Recovery, and Production environments
- Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring timely backups and compliance with security protocols
- Support database-side interactions with various internal and external interfaces while serving as a subject matter expert for escalations
Required qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite
- Proficiency in database administration, including backups, restores, and instance management
- Experience with patch management and applying Oracle Critical Patch Updates
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Familiarity with federal financial systems and governance documentation
