Job Summary
Supporting an extended data migration effort for a Department of Veterans Affairs program, the full-time Database Administrator - VA will manage and optimize both production and non-production databases, ensuring their health, security, and performance in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize databases for large-scale data migration
- Monitor database health and performance, proactively troubleshooting issues
- Implement and maintain database security controls and backup/recovery procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on data migration
