Database Administrator with Clearance
Job Summary
To support Army Acquisition, Training, and Readiness (AT&R), the full-time Database Administrator with Clearance will manage and maintain enterprise database environments for the Army Contract Writing System (ACWS), ensuring database health, performance, security, and operational reliability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain database health across production, test, and development environments
- Perform proactive database maintenance, including performance tuning and capacity planning
- Support database security, compliance, and manage backup and recovery procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of database administration experience supporting enterprise applications
- Strong experience with relational database technologies such as Oracle and/or SQL Server
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one
- Experience with database security, patching, and compliance requirements
