Database Administrator with Security Clearance

Job Summary

To support critical government programs, the full-time Database Administrator with Security Clearance will administer and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases across various operating systems while ensuring reliability and availability in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, performing installations, configurations, upgrades, and routine maintenance
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, and analyze database performance to resolve issues
• Support AWS-based infrastructure and manage PostgreSQL schemas, roles, and access controls to ensure security compliance

Required qualifications

• Active DOD Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, specifically with Oracle 19C/21C and PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services and database performance tuning
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL scripting
