Job Summary
To support critical government programs, the full-time Database Administrator with Security Clearance will administer and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases across various operating systems while ensuring reliability and availability in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, performing installations, configurations, upgrades, and routine maintenance
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, and analyze database performance to resolve issues
- Support AWS-based infrastructure and manage PostgreSQL schemas, roles, and access controls to ensure security compliance
Required qualifications
- Active DOD Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, specifically with Oracle 19C/21C and PostgreSQL
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services and database performance tuning
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL scripting
