Database Analyst III

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Database Analyst III will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining client and operational databases, as well as developing custom reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain stored procedures, triggers, views, and user-defined functions for reporting and registration applications
• Design and monitor SQL DTS/SSIS packages for data updates, exports, and maintenance across multiple databases
• Perform day-to-day database maintenance tasks including monitoring, backups, and resource utilization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
• Experience with MS SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server Integration Services
• Proficiency in creating and managing database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures
• Familiarity with data extraction from various sources including SQL Server, Oracle, and flat files
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and techniques for database optimization
