Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Database Architect/Senior Database Engineer to work fully remote, responsible for designing scalable and secure database architectures for a mission-critical FDA modernization program, engaging with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis and translate them into database architecture solutions
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models and establish logical database architecture
- Design and implement database solutions that ensure performance, security, and compliance with federal standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of progressive database experience, with at least 5 years in database architecture
- Experience in designing databases for enterprise applications and conducting requirements analysis
- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL, including database performance tuning and capacity planning
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation
