Database Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant to independently plan and deliver database data warehouse and storage architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently plan and deliver database data warehouse and storage architecture
• Analyze current business practices and identify future opportunities for leveraging data storage capabilities
• Ensure development of training and documentation for technical architecture and systems use

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any Engineering Field plus two years of relevant experience
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in the same fields plus five years of progressive experience is acceptable
• Experience with MapR, Elastic MapReduce, and RHEL Administration
• Familiarity with big data clusters, business intelligence tools, and AWS Big Data
• Knowledge of DevOps, Ansible, Python, Distributed Systems Networking, and Kubernetes
