Database Developer

Job Summary

To support the design and maintenance of various databases, the contract Database Developer will work remotely, focusing on developing ETL pipelines, executing data migrations, and optimizing SQL scripts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and workflows using SSIS, Python, PySpark, and SQL Server
• Execute large-scale data migrations, including cleansing, validation, and transformation across enterprise systems
• Build and maintain reporting solutions using SSRS and PowerBI while providing production support

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in database development or data engineering
• Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, and performance tuning
• Experience with ETL tools (SSIS), Python, or PySpark
• Strong background in data modeling and data integration
• Working knowledge of reporting tools (SSRS, PowerBI)
