Database Developer with Security Clearance

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Database Developer with Security Clearance will administer and maintain PostgreSQL databases, perform database installations and upgrades, and optimize SQL queries to support application performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain PostgreSQL databases across Linux environments, ensuring reliability and availability
• Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities with minimal supervision
• Analyze and improve database performance using monitoring tools and resolve performance issues as they arise

Required qualifications

• Active DOD Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Database Engineer using PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services, including RDS and EC2
• Proficiency in PL/pgSQL scripting for managing ETL procedures and database functionality
