Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer to support their Enterprise IT Operations Center remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute database backups, disaster recovery procedures, and failover mechanisms
• Monitor database systems to proactively identify and resolve performance issues
• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience or Master's with 2 years of experience
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator managing enterprise-level databases
• Strong proficiency in database administration, including installation and performance tuning
• Must obtain a baseline 8570 certification (IAT Level II) within 3 months of hire
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
