Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer with cloud experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day database operations across Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, and legacy SQL Server environments
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models
• Collaborate to implement scalable, low-latency database services for OLTP and analytical workloads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of professional experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases
• Solid knowledge of writing and tuning SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Understanding of data modeling principles and indexing strategies
• Exposure to database automation and CI/CD practices using tools such as Git, Liquibase, or Flyway
