Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer to support critical missions within its Risk Decision Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL/Python
• Architect and orchestrate modular, traceable data workflows with modern frameworks
• Assist in building and maintaining cloud-native database management systems on platforms such as AWS and Azure

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a T5/SSBI federally adjudicated clearance
• 5 years of experience with a BS/BA; 3 years with an MS/MA; 0 years with a PhD
• Proficiency in SQL/Python for ETL workflows and orchestration tools
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases in both on-prem and cloud contexts
• Understanding of data architecture principles including normalization and schema design
