Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer to design, build, and maintain data infrastructure for analytics and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and establish core data architecture and implement initial data pipelines
• Build production data pipelines using DBT and Dagster to integrate critical data sources into Snowflake
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize data integration opportunities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building data infrastructure and pipelines in production environments
• Proven experience setting up data systems from scratch or leading significant data architecture transformations
• Strong proficiency with SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development
• Experience with modern data stack technologies including Snowflake, DBT, and orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow
