Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and upgrade relational and NoSQL databases
Analyze and optimize slow-running queries and monitor database health and performance
Automate database tasks using scripting and tools, and support implementation of data security policies

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in Database Engineering or Database Administration
Strong proficiency in managing Oracle, MongoDB, Postgres, MySQL, and AWS RDS
Experience with GoldenGate replication and debugging complex database/system issues
Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and automation scripting (e.g., Bash, Shell, Python)
