Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer who will maintain existing databases and design new database structures for various products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and optimize databases, including stored procedures, views, and triggers
• Liaise with developers to enhance applications and gather user requirements
• Manage data processes and ensure compliance with performance and security standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience with MS SQL Server and SQL Server Development
• In-depth understanding of data management, including permissions and security
• Experience with Agile Development Methodology and performance analysis tools
• Ability to work closely with DBA teams and adhere to DB coding standards
