Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer to join a private equity organization and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of transactional databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installations, upgrades, patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring, and configuration
• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and create packages for data import and export
• Monitor and optimize performance of SSIS and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) jobs and develop and maintain documentation of ETL processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• 5+ years of related work experience
• Knowledgeable in SQL Server versions 2012, 2014, 2017, 2019+
• Knowledgeable in Windows Server versions 2012, 2016, 2019+
• Experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and SQL Server Database Engine
