Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer to lead and scale their database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute a relational schema modernization project while ensuring customer continuity
Collaborate with product engineering teams to implement efficient database schema and query patterns for new features
Analyze and optimize existing query patterns to enhance performance and reduce costs

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
5+ years of experience with MySQL or MariaDB
Proven experience in planning and executing large-scale schema migrations with minimal downtime
Strong understanding of query optimization and database performance tuning best practices
Experience with change data capture (CDC) and ETL pipeline design and operations
