Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and operate cross-region replication for various database technologies
Build the observability layer for replication health and automate runbooks
Support data extraction from monolith to microservices and collaborate with application engineers

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in production database engineering on AWS
Deep production experience with at least two databases such as Aurora MySQL, Cassandra, or DynamoDB
Practical experience with cross-region replication in production environments
Strong knowledge of Terraform (or CDK) for building multi-region modules
Familiarity with CDC tooling and operational challenges
