Database Engineer

Job Summary

To support engineering efforts, the full-time remote Database Engineer will maintain, optimize, and evolve database systems for a SaaS platform while collaborating with teams to design scalable data solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Own monitoring and maintenance of database systems to ensure uptime and reliability
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and system improvements
• Design and deploy Azure-based solutions and contribute to database architecture enhancements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience with database technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL DB
• Strong T-SQL skills with experience in stored procedures, tables, and views
• Experience in query performance tuning and database optimization
• Familiarity with Azure services, such as Functions and Logic Apps
