Database Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Database Engineer will design, implement, and maintain databases and data pipelines to support business operations, ensuring data quality and performance optimization.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and build reliable data pipelines and platforms for analytics and operational applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into scalable solutions
- Develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform products and ensure data quality through validation processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or professional certifications with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in data engineering and building production ETL/ELT pipelines for relational databases like SQL Server or Azure SQL
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling
- Familiarity with Python for data processing and automation
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or AWS, and knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform products
