Database Engineer Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer Consultant who will lead the development and support of database technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultative direction and technical advice regarding the Bank's database infrastructure
• Evaluate performance of existing and proposed systems components to meet technology and business needs
• Support technical systems, manage projects, and resolve complex technical problems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Database Technologies OR High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of experience in Database Technologies
• Database Administrator with 10+ years of experience in Banking, Finance, and Railway domains
• Proficiency in database installations, upgrades, and migrations
• Understanding of relational database constructs and high availability design
• Experience supporting environments with 24x7 on-call in a corporate workplace
