Job Summary
To support the development and production of database products in a cloud environment, the full-time Database Engineer III will design complex data models, implement data solutions, and mentor junior engineers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and create complex data models to support business needs and analyze data relationships
- Test applications using database management software and gather system metrics to enhance performance
- Evaluate new technologies and develop project proposals for IT services, acting as a technical project leader as needed
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of data management experience with a focus on database architecture and data integration
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data roles utilizing advanced engineering principles
- Fluency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems
- Familiarity with Virtual Data Warehousing or Snowflake DWaaS
- Experience building data pipelines on Azure and debugging complex data issues with large datasets
