Job Summary
Leading the business-side data migration preparation stream, the full-time Database Engineer SME will assess legacy data, facilitate mapping workshops, and define data cleansing rules while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess legacy data sources and readiness for migration from the current on-premises environment
- Plan and facilitate data mapping workshops with subject matter experts and migration resources
- Document source-to-target mappings and coordinate business validation of migrated data
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, data management, business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of data analysis, conversion, or migration experience, including 3 years supporting enterprise applications
- Advanced proficiency with SQL, Excel, and data mapping tools
- Experience facilitating business mapping and validation workshops with data owners
- Ability to communicate technical data issues in clear business terms
