Job Summary
To support the National Institute of Nursing Research's modernization efforts, the full-time Database Management Specialist II will manage the design, implementation, and administration of relational data models in Microsoft Dataverse, focusing on transforming existing data into secure and scalable solutions while working remotely with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain relational data models in Microsoft Dataverse for NINR's administrative data
- Analyze existing data sources to identify modernization opportunities and migration requirements
- Plan and execute the migration of legacy data into Dataverse, ensuring data quality and compliance with governance standards
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in database management, data engineering, or related IT disciplines
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dataverse and relational database design
- Hands-on experience with data migration and integration across applications and databases
- Knowledge of data governance, quality, privacy, and security principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline preferred
