Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and optimize PostgreSQL configuration parameters for resource utilization
• Forecast resource needs and propose scaling solutions based on application growth
• Design and manage monitoring dashboards and alerting systems for performance indicators

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL cluster management in production environments
• Expertise in replication, failover mechanisms, and backup/recovery strategies
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL core architecture and performance tuning
• Extensive experience managing large-scale PostgreSQL databases in a 24/7 environment
• Experience with observability tools for performance monitoring
