Database Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE) to ensure data availability and improve database performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect and ensure the continuous availability of data
• Collaborate with senior team members to analyze and optimize database performance
• Document and automate routine database tasks to enhance operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server
• 2+ years of experience supporting Postgres
• Experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL and basic performance tuning
• Proficiency in building and maintaining PowerShell scripts is preferred
