Database Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Database Reliability Engineer will ensure data availability, collaborate on performance tuning, and automate routine tasks while supporting Microsoft SQL Server and Postgres systems.

Key responsibilities

• Protect and ensure the continuous availability of data through daily reliability work
• Collaborate with senior team members to measure, analyze, and fine-tune database performance
• Document and automate routine database tasks to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server
• 2+ years of experience supporting Postgres
• Experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL and basic performance tuning
• Ability to follow and improve runbooks and documentation for repeatable processes
