Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Reliability Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead coding, configuration management, and code reviews to improve individual systems
Mentor junior team members and collaborate with application pillar peers to make technical decisions
Develop automation and designs to allow application teams to scale up and troubleshoot data service optimizations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, OR graduate of coding boot camp, or related field experience
6+ years of professional software development experience
Working knowledge of Linux based systems and Shell commands and scripting
Experience with Cloud hosted services (i.e. built and deployed under Azure, AWS, or another cloud provider)
Experience with one or more SQL, noSQL, or streaming data system, and interested in acquiring deep expertise in same
