Job Summary
A company is looking for a Database Specialist IV to provide database services to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Key Responsibilities
- Scope data design, architecture, analysis, and PL/SQL development within Oracle Databases
- Analyze legacy NOAA Fisheries databases and create new architectures for modernization
- Deliver completed Oracle DDL and PL/SQL implementations into NMFS Oracle DBMS systems
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Greater Atlantic fisheries management agencies and associated business rules
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Database 19C and above, both on premise and cloud-based
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Control, SQL Developer, Oracle APEX, and Toad
