Database Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

To support a major federal enterprise digital optimization and modernization program, the contract-to-hire Database Subject Matter Expert will leverage extensive IT experience to modernize critical legacy tax processing systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Modernize legacy tax processing systems to enhance user experience and regulatory compliance
• Utilize methodologies for various technologies including Java/J2EE, Oracle DB, and IBM DB2
• Ensure adherence to government security requirements while managing multiple tasks effectively

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• Active MBI Clearance and access to Government Furnished Equipment
• 6+ years of experience in database programming and/or administration
• 4+ years of experience with IBM DB2 database management and IBM z/OS mainframe operating systems
• US Citizenship required
