Databricks Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Databricks Admin role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the Databricks environment, including configuration and CI/CD deployments
• Optimize architecture and job clusters, and handle ticket creation for cluster spikes
• Oversee Unity Catalog and metastore configuration, as well as Delta Lake & Lakehouse architecture

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Databricks administration or cloud data platform support
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
• Proficiency in Azure data services and cloud storage (ADLS, S3, GCS)
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages
• Understanding of IAM, networking, and cloud security principles
