Databricks Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of scalable data platforms, the remote Databricks Architect will drive end-to-end architecture, including data ingestion, transformation, and governance, while enabling advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture on Databricks
• Define end-to-end data pipelines using Spark and Delta Lake
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 9-12+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics platforms
• Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and architectures
